The cartridges are stronger and more impact resistant that the cds and dvds, so they are great for young kids who are not old enough to take good care of the games. Many great games that are available on the newer systems got their start on these systems, and the classics are just as fun.
If you are an adult who played these games as a child, you can relive some of these great memories for very little money, and it is a great way to get your young kids into gaming without spending a great deal of money.
